Safety, Support & Shared Responsibility
DachRide is designed to make premium e-bike experiences practical for hospitality properties while maintaining clear operating standards. Our approach combines guest education, technology, fleet care and defined responsibilities between DachRide, the property and each rider.
The goal is simple: a well-managed program, a prepared guest and a clear operating framework for everyone involved.
Clear Roles. Better Operations.
DachRide is a partnership. We provide the program, technology, fleet systems and ongoing support, while the property provides light on-site assistance and guests remain responsible for operating the equipment safely and following applicable rules.
DACHRIDE
Program & Fleet Management
DachRide coordinates program setup, fleet standards, technology, maintenance protocols, guest access systems and ongoing operational support.
PROPERTY PARTNER
Light On-Site Support
Property teams help introduce the amenity to guests, direct riders to the fleet and provide reasonable day-to-day assistance such as helmets, charging checks and basic visual oversight.
GUEST
Responsible Riding
Riders complete required acknowledgments, follow safety guidance and local regulations, use provided safety equipment and remain responsible for operating the bike appropriately during their rental.
Before Every Ride
A consistent pre-ride process helps prepare guests for a safe, confident experience while keeping the process simple for property teams.
Guest Verification
Required rider information, eligibility requirements and acknowledgments are completed before access to the fleet.
Equipment Readiness
Bikes are maintained through defined inspection and service protocols designed to support a clean, charged and ride-ready fleet.
Safety Orientation
Guests receive guidance covering bike operation, braking, turning, helmet use and key riding expectations.
Local Riding Guidance
Property-specific information can identify recommended riding areas, local regulations, restricted zones and other important considerations.
Support Throughout the Ride
Technology and defined support procedures help DachRide and property teams maintain visibility into the fleet while giving guests the freedom to explore independently.
CONNECTED FLEET
Connected GPS, cellular and Bluetooth technology supports bike location visibility, remote locking, fleet oversight and operational data throughout the program.
ROADSIDE ISSUES
Flat tires, depleted batteries and other unexpected equipment issues are handled through a defined escalation and recovery process appropriate to each property.
GUEST SUPPORT
Clear support channels give riders a way to request assistance if they have a question or encounter an issue during their ride.
PROPERTY COMMUNICATION
DachRide and the property maintain clear points of contact so operational issues can be identified and addressed without unnecessarily involving front-desk staff.
Fleet Care & Maintenance
A premium guest experience depends on a well-maintained fleet. DachRide establishes maintenance standards and service procedures for each property, with routine on-site support kept simple for hotel teams.
ROUTINE PROPERTY CHECKS
Property teams may assist with simple day-to-day tasks such as confirming bikes are returned to charging, keeping the station orderly and reporting visible issues.
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
DachRide coordinates scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance based on fleet usage, manufacturer recommendations and the needs of each location.
SERVICE & REPAIRS
Mechanical issues are documented and addressed through qualified service resources, with bikes removed from guest use when necessary until they are ready to return to service.
When Something Unexpected Happens
Even with preparation and preventive maintenance, unexpected situations can occur. Each DachRide program includes defined communication and escalation procedures designed to help guests and property teams respond appropriately.
EQUIPMENT ISSUE
If a bike develops a mechanical issue or becomes unsuitable for continued use, the rider is instructed to stop riding and contact the designated support channel.
ACCIDENT OR EMERGENCY
Guests are instructed to contact local emergency services first when immediate medical, police or emergency assistance is required, followed by notification through the designated program channels.
RIDER ASSISTANCE
Support procedures help determine the appropriate next step based on the situation, location and needs of the guest.
DOCUMENTATION & FOLLOW-UP
Reported incidents and equipment issues are documented so appropriate follow-up, inspection and operational review can take place.
DachRide support is not a substitute for emergency medical, police, fire or other public emergency services.
A Shared Commitment to Safe Operation
Safety works best when the program operator, property and rider each understand their role. DachRide establishes the operating framework, the property supports the program on site, and every rider remains responsible for making appropriate decisions while using the equipment.
Specific operating procedures, responsibilities and support protocols are established with each property based on its location, fleet configuration, applicable requirements and final partnership agreement.
Built Around Your Property
Every property is different. DachRide works with each partner to develop a program that reflects the location, guest experience, operating environment and expected demand.
